Aesthetics Art

This piece of art was created by Pablo Picasso The Self Portrait of 1907. To define Aesthetics is a branch of philosophy dealing with the natureof beauty, art, and taste, with the creation and appreciation of beauty.” To me the most natural beauty that we have is the human body. To be more precise the human face. There’s not one other person with one like it. Each in its special way is different. This piece magnifies the features of the human face and thus the appreciation of beauty occurs.

Kitsch

This art work is created by Frederick Dielman's the widow. Kitsch defined as, “a form of art that is considered an inferior, tasteless copy of an extant style of art or a worthless imitation of art of recognized value.” I was kind of amused by this work of art from the bell on its neck to the material around its neck. That caught me by surprise because you’d see a human wearing that in the past. The work of art was nice but, it really has no significant meaning behind it.

Viable forms of feelings

This art work is created by Yayoi Kusama in 1997. This piece of work is called Heart. This piece of art give’s a viable form to feelings. Feelings tend to come from your heart, which is what this piece illustrates. It shows in it, if you look hard dolls. Which to me symbolizes a little girls affection towards these dolls. And as we all know little girls have a special bond with there little dolls. And theses traits are considered feelings!

Hidden or universal truths

This art work is created by Yayoi Kusama in 2002. This piece of work is called Ladder to heaven. This to me illustrated the roles of hidden or universal truths. Because it is a ladder which appears to lead to an after life. Thus being a universal truth that many people believe in. Its symbolic, the ladder illustrated that the hidden truth in this is getting to heaven, which is a process that takes time also illustrated by the steps to reach the eventual goal of a happy after life.

Helping see the world in a new and innovative way

This art work is created by Yayoi Kusama in 2002. This piece of work is called Fireflies on the Water. This to me is portraying the world in a new and different way, especially because she is using nature, a insect that flies around at night, and turned its special attribute of light to art. Turning a dark room into a beautiful light show.

To record the world

This art work is created by Yayoi Kusama in 2004. The concept I'm portraying is the role to "record the world." The world is 75% water and thus in this illustration you mostly see water. And in order to support human life you need oxygen thus the arrow pointing towards the tree's. And the sky portrays where we get rain and sun which are essential to life on earth. The world is full of buildings, water, plant life, and people and thats what this image is to me.
